Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton
Plastic Surgery is real surgery and carries with it physical and emotional issues for which you should be prepared.
Keep the following in mind:
- Plan your recovery time. It is often a good idea to schedule a plastic surgery procedure on a Friday in order to have an extra weekend of recovery before going back to work.
- Arrange for help to be nearby during the first 72 hours, even if your plastic surgery procedure is a small one.
- Be prepared to minimize swelling. Have ice packs, frozen peas, or other cold compresses handy before the date of the plastic surgery procedure.
- Surgery of any kind can dehydrate your body. Be sure to drink plenty of liquid after the plastic surgery procedure.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
- Do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications, as these could interfere with your recovery.
- Follow your plastic surgeon’s guidelines.
