Dr. Burden specializes in endoscopic (minimal incision) breast surgery (breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, breast reconstruction) as well as facial surgery (facelift, eyelid surgery, brow lift, nose surgery).

Dr. Burden received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where he graduated with honors. He completed a five-year general surgery residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and a two-year plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Florida.

Dr. Burden is board certified in both plastic and reconstructive surgery and general surgery. He is a member of several national organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Rives Society. He has been published in the Annals of Plastic Surgery, North American Clinics of Surgery and the Archives of Surgery. Dr. Burden has been selected as the best physician on the Emerald Coast as well as the best plastic surgeon on four occasions.
